HUMANE SOCIETY OF OCEAN CITY PANCAKE BREAKFAST

The Humane Society of Ocean City is holding its second annual Pancake Breakfast to raise money for the shelter’s animals. The breakfast will be held at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church at 30th St. and Bay Ave in Ocean City on Saturday, March 19th from 8:00am-11:00am.

The Breakfast is all you can eat and tickets can be purchased in advance at the shelter or at the door. Adults tickets are $6, with children aged 2 through 10 and seniors aged 65 and older costing only $5.

“These events are a great way to catch up with previous adopters, and a way for new potential adopters to get to know us. They also raise much needed funds for the shelter’s animals and are a lot of fun. We hope to see a lot of people out there,” said Bill Hollingsworth, Executive Director for the HSOC.

The shelter has been filled to capacity with dogs and cats since December of last year. “These types of events are really important to the shelter because they raise money and awareness and with this many animals the shelter needs plenty of both,” said Louise Nunan, Secretary of the shelter’s Board of Directors.

The Humane Society of Ocean City has been serving the South Jersey community since 1964. The HSOC is a private 501 (c) 3 organization. All donations are tax exempt. For more information on the no-kill animal shelter, spay/neuter and wellness clinic, or humane education center visit www.HSOCNJ.org.
